Hi, I'm Carolyn and I started Aspire2bfit in 2019 after turning 40 and becoming more aware of my own health and fitness. I began strength training as I learned of it’s benefits, especially as we age and loved the confidence it gave me. I started to love my body and was empowered by what it could achieve. I want women to know it’s never too late to start their fitness journey and to realise their full potential.

It does not matter what your current level of fitness is, as we will always go at a pace to suit you. I believe that finding the right type of workouts that suit your lifestyle is one of the most important things that you can do to get started and stay consistent. I believe doing activities you actually enjoy and focussing on how your body performs, not just how it looks is the key to life long physical and mental well-being. Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make. I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness is worth the discomfort. I encourage clients to make small, cumulative lifestyle changes to achieve and sustain their health and fitness goals. Little changes that add up to big results and help you create healthier habits for the long term.

Fitness Plans

To develop a personalised fitness programme and plan, whatever the goal, a consultation is initiated. This will highlight your targets, training commitments, restrictions to workouts and current diet and eating patterns. With this information, I can prepare an individual fitness and well-being plan. Your plan will be delivered through the Aspire2bfit fitness app where your progress will be tracked and where I'll be in near daily contact with you. Support group, challenges, workouts of the day are just some of the extra features. You will also receive a weekly check in call at a time that suits you.

Nutritional Guidance and Support

After initial consultation, I advise clients to initially track their food through MyFitnessPal or Fitbit which links to the Aspire2bfit app where I can view your food diary and I will provide non-generic feedback, guidance and make adjustments to keep you on track to reach your weight loss goals.

1-2-1 Online Personal Training Sessions

Online Personal Training Via Zoom. You can get professional fitness advice without the need of leaving your house. This saves you time, gives you more flexibility about where and when to workout and is ideal if you want to keep an eye on the kids and still have the ability to fit in a workout. It's also a great introduction to training and is a non-intimidating environment to work on getting your form correct so you are getting the most out of your training and not injuring yourself in the process.
